Summit Inn - Houston Medical Center/NRG Park

Reserved room online. Place was pretty empty but I was put on the second floor and parking was limited. Switched to a ground room. Room was big with a king bed but only had a big shower instead of a tub which was fine with me. Still had to park away from door. Well kept on the inside but the outside is a bit unkempt and could use some work. Only one entrance near an intersection so expect some delay leaving during rush hours. Otherwise nice place for decent price.

I checked out at 11am with my children and newborn. I was waiting for my husband to see if he made the money for our room and he couldn't due to the rain. When my husband arrived in the Lyft it started raining harder and lightning, so we stood out the rain by the room we checked out. Some guy that stay in the same hotel asked was we're okay. We told him the honest truth we're trying to get a ride across the street to get our newborn out the rain. He was about to just get us a ride but end up asking if that's all we need. I told him we needed to get our room but we didn't come up with the money yet and he asked how much is it and I told him. After he gave me the money I was money short a little. I gave it a try and went to the front desk to book even though I was short. The owner said it's okay do you want to go in the same room. I'm Soo thankful because some is all for money. I'll definitely be coming back here they're caring and very understanding that we had kids homeless.

Super clean and great value. I was surprised to find this friendly gem of a hotel at such an affordable rate. They have thoughtful amenities like coffee and a hair dryer. The bathroom was attractively arranged with a spacious shower. I extended my stay because Summit Inn is top notch. I will avoid chain hotels next time I'm in Houston in favor of the Summit Inn. Thanks for a great stay.

Very friendly staff and easy check in. Loved the microwave and mini fridge. Big screen TV and ironing board. Very nice for the price!

Couple patches on the walls couch needs cleaning but everything works iron, coffee machine, fridge, microwave, TV, not the prettiest room but everything is clean and no bugs.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, Comfortable, And thoughtful set up, Making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, Professional, And always willing to help with anything I needed, I would truly stay here again and recommend it to others.

We stayed at the Summit Inn 2 nights with our 2 grandchildren, giving this place a try instead of staying at the higher end motel next door. Surprise! Our ground floor room was clean and comfortable, everything worked. The staff was extra helpful in loaning us (many!) extra blankets, which I needed for a good night's sleep. The place was quiet. Best motel for the price. Very accommodating. We will certainly return. Thank you from the Dunn family.
